In 2022, Duncan Rhodes Painting Academy and Trans Atlantis Games teamed up to make the best paints available in the market. In 2023 and 2024 we expanded our core range with Waves 2 and 3. Now, we are excited to announce our next product, the Dark Arts. The Dark Arts will be shipping before the end of the year in Europe and Oceania and to North America in 2026.

The Dark Arts Range
The Dark Arts is a Grim and Moody range of paints that is designed to provide you wtih a great collection of colours for painting your miniatures in a grimdark style.
It includes 21 Acrylics that are intedned to be mixed and matched for intresting tones, 3 grubby metallics, and 6 acrylic inks that can be added to other paints for shading or used as the basis for glowing effects.
The colours provdied have been chosen so you can use this set stand-alone or you can mix in with other paints from the Two Thin Coats range for even more options

21 brand new colours made using our amazing mediums and high pigmentation! Bring the dark and grim to life with these dark, rich colours.

Made using real metal, these 3 new metallics will have the same great coverage you’ve come to expect from Two Thin Coats. These grungy colours really bring out the old and dirty in your model’s well worn gear.
The Inks
A brand new paint type to our range, inks work similar to washes with a few key differences – inks are more fluid than washes, and tend to cover more evenly. These 6 new inks are perfect for tinting colors, intense shading, and even weathering!

The Dark Arts Box Set
To begin with, the Dark Arts will be avaiable in retail stores as a box set, containing all 30 of the Dark Art ranges with separate paints becoming available in the future
